Henry "Smokey" Yunick (May 25, 1923 ? May 9, 2001) was an American mechanic and car designer deeply involved in the early years of NASCAR. He participated as a racer, designer, and held other jobs related to the sport, but was best known as a mechanic, builder, and crew chief. Yunick was twice NASCAR mechanic of the year; and his teams would include 50 of the most famous drivers in the sport, winning 57 NASCAR Cup Series races, including two championships in 1951 and 1953. In 1990, he was inducted into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame

Just a little FYI : The real car was a hard top, not a sedan.
Yes. This is more of a tribute car rather than a replica.
Yeah, that's why this HW61 mold, in this livery, is called a "tribute model." Still though (and...
...I've said this 150 times) it's incredible to me that there is not even one "high-end" 1/18 replica of a 1957 Chevrolet 2-dr hardtop. Crazy!
I still like it...
It reminds me of back when NASCAR was really "stock" car racing.
True, true, it does look cool and it is a "stock car" but many wish it was a hardtop.
That's okay... the model comes with a saw!
I agree with you completely, Christopher!
