I saw this car driving on the streets in downtown
Minneapolis, Mn back in the day. I was maybe 14 years old on my way to church with my folks, when cutting through downtown I heard this open headers car, and this was it! It was being tuned at the dealership to run at MN Dragways later that day - and WE WENT! Cool memory...

Don't know who wired and plumbed the rear engine but running the fuel lines into the magneto housing probably wouldn't be such a good idea! LOL!!!!

A killer Olds and one of many H61 '66 and '67 442's that were home runs.

We were soooooo lucky that H61 did these ambitious projects before fiscal realities kicked in.
These specialty cars are so rare today. The financial risks for diecast manufacturers make it very difficult to stretch their creativity as did H61 in their early days.
