WOW! The weathering on the cars is incredible! Thanks for the link!!
That video is very cool (I've seen others like it ) and obviously that collector has many skills but being the lazy person that I am - what I'll never understand is that I can buy that very Ertl '69 Dodge NIB on eBay right now for $30.
My point: Awesome video, but why bother? I suppose, it's MORE about "the process" than "the product." Lord knows there was A TON of effort put into making that video!
What a remarkably cool job on these amazing model diecasts and the superb diorama ! It took a lot of effort and talent but it sure paid off in these great-looking displays and replicas.
Fabulous work. I have restored several 1/1 scale cars in my life but none that were that quick.

Well, that video was heavily edited; it actually took 3 hours to make it. 😆 😆 ....with 1:1s, it sometimes takes 3 hours just to figure out how something comes off! 😮 😯
@chris You nailed it Chris. That reminds me of the time I was at a wrecking yard and found a Starfire script on the deck lid of a 61 Olds Starfire. I was elated as the one I had was broken. Since this was a yard that wouldn't let you pull the part, I went to the office and they sent their gorilla out to pull the part. The gorilla obviously had no idea what he was doing and broke the pot metal part in two and the locating pins on the back. I asked the owner where he found the guy and walked out

Oh I remember him Bob. That was Mo; Mozilla. The guy was a real ANIMAL!!
@perrone1 I remember Mo....used to do business over on Vine; specialized in Swingers.....the guy was ape for 'em!
Does it say anywhere who the modeler was? We used to have a guy that posted distressed models on Forum 24 and I wonder if it's him.
If you start the video and then switch it over to YouTube the 'About' info says that he is Alexandre and he is from Brasil. The channel is "Restore DIY".
