This has always been one of my favorite incar videos racing at speed.  It is the Lemans 1986 opening lap.  The speed of 230 MPH from inside the car on the Mulsanne is thrilling.  As we know. that long straight no longer exists as two chicanes have been added to slow the cars from those high sustained speeds on the 3 mile straight.

@perrone1 - The most fun I've ever had with my clothes on was driving at speed on a track! LOL!

what a fantastic view on that first lap!  An incredible era of Sports car racing.

A local family owns the 1986 winning 962C.  I've seen pics posted from various cars shows & dealerships (when they picked up their 918), but somehow have missed it.

I need a cigarette! HA!

Back when I had the Z06 and was in our Corvette Club, we had a day at VIR (Virginia International Raceway) and had similar fun as this - what a ball! Thanks Marty!
