another Costco bargain by Maisto 69 Mustang

@modeldadeeee - Huh?  How is that possible?  Heck, even the NASA Astronauts who orbited the Moon were always close to a Costco!  LOL!

Here are two Boss Mustangs, the Red one is a 1970 BOSS 302 by Highway 61, the black and gold one is a 1969 BOSS 429 by ACME from a Highway 61 mould. The grille on the 1970 is upright where the 1969 the grille is at an angle. The 1970 grille is not as attractive as the 1969 grille. 

Fun fact: The BOSS 429 Mustang in the Movies John Wick were actually MACH 1 Mustangs, the biggest give away was the hood scoop, the BOSS 429 hood scoop is wider than the MACH 1 hood scoop, there are a bunch of other give aways as well, you can do a search and find sites that have gone over all the identifying features that the cars were MACH 1 bodies. 

Such a shame they destroyed a handful of MACH 1 Mustangs in that movie. 

I don't know if they still do, Sam's club used to get the Maisto in before Christmas.

@john3976 Well I'll be damned!      How did I NOT realize that HW61 produced 1970 AND 1969 Mustangs....     I thought they were ALL 1970's!    I only have a '70.      That means I NOW need a 1969 Mustang to squeeze into my collection!    😩 😩 😩 😩 😩

We were in Costco earlier this week and I saw a guy walk by us with 5 or 6 of them in his cart, don't know what one's he had, I just wanted to get out of there before we spent anymore money.
