Another tribute to the late Ned Anello [PIC]
I had no idea Ned Anello past on.
Here's another example of his mat work on this '51 Studebaker. I love this example of post war jet age styling. So many cars tried to capture the aerodynamic modernism back then including the rocket and jet plane hood ornaments.

PIC - Ned's real fame to claim was his love of Pontiac. He owned a vintage '67 GTO too.

Nice ! I have some of Ned's floor mats for a YM 1953 Packard Caribbean.
Nice pic. Anyone have a guess as to the 'tag' on the door ?
Nice! I bought some mats from Ned for the Zone
Aegean Aqua Olds 442, quite a few years back. Time flies. He was a nice guy, loved his Pontiacs, and did very nice work.

My guess is it would be either his initials or perhaps his nickname, "Ned."
Ned was a true gentleman. I've got so many things from Ned that I hoard like nobody's business. Window price stickers, fender covers, floor mats, wheel centers and other things that he made up and sent to me. He also helped me out when I went about creating a 1:18 of my 1:1 '69 Chevelle. He made me an owners manual and a shop manual. SO very cool.
I remember emailing him just before he passed and asked him if he could make me up some Cragar wheel centers. He emailed me back that he had to pull out his printer and would try to help me out. I didn't hear back from him for a while and then I get an envelope from him! Shortly thereafter, he sadly passed. I never met him in person nor spoke to him on the phone but I consider him a very good friend and I miss him.
