At least a temporary solution to my problem.....
I chickened out on drilling a hole in the bottom of the Ferrari. There are screws in the suspension but much more involved from the 330 (I looked at it for inspiration). I am looking for long nose side cuts, will try an electrical place today, I will try to cut the coil springs. I had planned on displaying this with two Lola's (coupe and spyder) and the Sunoco Porsche 917 and a '69 Sunoco Camaro. For now this will be the display....

Spent almost two days trying to figure out if I could lower it, took less than 1 hour to whip up a wooden base and cover it. The more time I spend with it the more I like it but I want to see the image of the complete car, with the correct stance. Thanks Dennis!

Interesting use for a smaller fish tank.
I might have to try that. With some white LEDs on the bottom of the one above, they could be stacked.

You can notch the plastic edges with a file and not crush any wires, it's easy. These will all be moved to my basement once I get it finished. Hopefully early next year.
