AutoWorld does a great job on their new mold models. Lots of details & a very well done model. AW has released quite a few different color schemes for the 6th gen Camaro, but I love this Velvet Blue Metallic, a limited run of 1002 & a color only offered by Chevy in 2016. For some reason, this color has been discounted considerably, as I paid under $50 shipped off Ebay.
This one does look excellent. A terrific replica of this powerful Chevy.
That is nice. Very nice ! I like it ! You know, I've gotten used to no tire sidewall detail but can't we at LEAST get some bslve stems ?! And why can't the manufacturer use their own company name with some raised detail tire size to help make the tires look more realistic ?
NO ROYALTIES OR LICENSING ISSUES, right ??

BTW, I like that the wheels AREN'T black.
Hi John3976. I can't enlarge the pics enough to read the badges. Is this the 50th Anniversary Maisto Camaro ?
I saw them at Costco but passed on them. My bad. Nice pics there !
I don't remember what was on the box, but this Maisto Camaro was purchased at Epcot back in 2016, due to the rear tag just having Chevrolet printed on it I am going to say that this was not marketed as a 50 anniversary version.
The AutoWorld Diecast in the first post has some nice features like the seatbelt that the Maisto does not have and the engine bay is a little nicer as well as the bottom.
I think Maisto did a better job on the Bowtie emblem than AutoWorld did.
Both make a nice display pieces.
