Long time D4C member Bill Bennett won his class at the Nevada Open Road Challenge! It was his first time running the race as the primary driver in his 2001 C5 Corvette Z06!

Yep. I got the whole saga from him in a 3 hour phone call. He's not one to let the grass grow under his feet. You have to admire his lust for life.

Rich, I too got a phone call. Bill and I talk every couple of weeks. What I like is how excited he is with his Z06 and the fun he is having with it. Bill mentions you and Marty frequently during our conversations...he came through Mississippi a couple years ago and we spent time together going through my collection of models and 1/1 scale cars. A great guy who, as you say, is living life to the fullest.
