Bond BMW Z8 ]PIC]
My youngest daughter will be graduating the US Merchant Marine Academy in June with a BS, a commission as an Ensign in the USNR and a 3rd officer's Coast Guard license.
Four years ago, she told my wife that if/when she makes it through there, she wanted a two-seater BMW. Well, that's not happening, but I did buy her a nice Tag Heuer watch to wear at sea. My wife asked me if I had any models that would fit the bill and I dug this one up.
This darned Kyosho is almost 17 years old and still looks great. What floored me was the MSRP that was $55! That darned thing would sell for over $200 today... easy.
I took a few pics before I wrapped it up as a stroll down memory lane.

Yada, yada on the Z8..lol. BTW, nice pics Rich..but WOW, what an accomplishment for your daughter!
You've gotta be one helluva proud papa! Congrats to you and your family.
Yep! Huge congrats to your daughter! After you give her the model, tell her that if she...
... wants to turn a quick buck, send me a shout-out on the forum! I'll gladly give her the posted $55 and I'll even pay for the shipping!😁
Thanks, Steve. Yes, I'm proud of her as can be....
The attrition rate there is at least one-third. The focus, dedication and hard work she has put in there has me forever wondering, "Is that really my kid?". LOL
If she doesn't hit me with it, it's yours. LOL
That kid has developed muscles that put me to shame.
Congratulations on raising such an outstanding daughter...
quite the accomplishment.
I agree Rich Outstanding Parents & one of them collects "lil" cars. Congratulations!
and the other parent tolerates me. LOL
