BoS again. This time, a 1957 Imperial.
I was about to order the 1972 Cadillac when I saw a brand new 1957 Imperial Crown Southampton by BoS. From pics it looked better, so now it is on the way. They are really introducing some varied subjects. I hope a 1976 Cadillac Fleetwood is in their lineup soon.

Here you'll find some pics from this beautifull resin-model :

Oh well, another one I'll have to order.

This is great ! Wonderful subject and it looks beautifully done.
I've been thinking the same thing.
Ordered today along with the '78 Mark V and the '72 Coupe de Ville.
I may have asked this before...
But on BoS models, do the wheels at least spin freely? I picked up my first resin, the TSM Datsun 510, and one of the wheels does not touch the ground- but they're so fragile I don't want to try and force it... so before I buy another resin 1/18 I'd like to know if I could freewheel the car so it "sits on all fours"...
Any experience would be helpful; I'd love to add this Imperial to my collection!
Wheels spin freely.
Mine arrived a couple of days ago. I am really pleased. It sits level with no problem. It may be that the axles are a slightly too long and allow some side to side movement of the wheels, but that should be easy to correct. My only issue is the way they did the side windows in the up position. The printed chrome around each glass pane is not present for the front windows but is for the rear windows. Looks a little strange up close. But I still highly recommend the Imperial.
Thank you!!!
I'll definitely pick one up!
And thank you for not being condescending in your reply; it seems whenever anyone asks if the wheels roll on a resin model on other forums, the community responds by making jokes about "playing with it like Hot Wheels" or "it's not a toy, what's wrong with you?"... so I appreciate your reply a great deal.
