BoS Continental MkV [PIC]
This is pretty darned close to the 1:1 I owned. Replace the opera top and interior color to Dove Gray and it's a match.
The exterior is gorgeous. The paint is perfect (better than the car I owned which I repainted). The turbine wheels are right on the money. The glazing is crystal clear and the trim is spot on including the pin striping.
The hood ornament I think is a bit undersized.
The interior is not so good. The dash is 2-dimensional and the door hardware aside the strap hardware is all brown rather than chromed.
The price was $116.95 so I have no complaints.\

What a beautiful model and car !
Who makes this..... I know its a BoS (Best of Show) but
I want the manufacturer name and phone number or email address. When you try to search BoS Models all that comes up are websites that carry the models. Anyone have any info off there box would be appreciated. FYI, beautiful pics and great looking model even if sealed.
I currently own a Mark V and the details on this model are terrific. I agree with your assessment Richard. My 1/1 has the turbine wheels and optional vent windows along with a full vinyl roof and moon roof. I have the silver version of this model while my 1/1 is Turquoise.
Looks very nice. Every time I decide to stop collecting 1:18. Another one drags me in.

Great looking model.
This is an improvement over the first issued silver car. So maybe the third one will be the charm and receive an accurate color combination where the side trim inserts, the vinyl top, and the interior are all the same color. I know that is radical but I still hold out hope.
Then seal up the oval windows and make a Collector's Series in dark blue.
along those same lines...MCW has a US operation called
American Excellence. I've ordered numerous models through them with zero issues.
