BoS models
Hi guys, I would like some feedback regarding BoS-models. I was considering purchasing the 1967 1:18 Cadillac Eldorado. I'm aware that the doors, hood and trunk don't open and the undercarriage isn't detailed. The subject matter on the other hand, has been long awaited. Are these models really worth the near $100.00 price tag? Or, should I continue to wait for a diecast manufacturer to produce these 60s and 70s American land yachts?
Thanks,
Dan
Hi Dan! For what it's worth, I have 2 BoS models, and they are excellent.
I have the Mercedes Benz 540K Autobahnkurier and the Maserati A6G 2000 Zagato Berlinetta. I love them both! Yeah, they're sealed, and they are not 100% absolutely perfect, but BoS does a great job on what they produce. They will look outstanding on your shelf even next to models from CMC, or BBR.
I hope this helps, and if you decide to take the plunge, I think you'll be pleased!
+1
I have the following BoS models:
1937 Mercedes Benz Coupe
1959 Imperial
1967 Cadillac Eldorado
1972 Cadillac Coupe DeVille
1975 Imperial
1977 Lincoln Continental MK
1982 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham
I really like them all and think they're great. Who knows if some other manufacturer will ever come out with a '67 Eldorado.
I don't like the incorrect wide whitewalls on this model which stops me from buying it.
