Can-Am cars continued....
Thanks to a big push by driver Chris Amon even Ferrari went Can-Am racing. Winless throughout their efforts the Ferrari was seriously under powered compared to the competition

Josh ... Raising my hand here ... Stupid Question
While soaking up the pix and the Xclnt race info
It suddenly hit me
These cars remind of me power boat racing
~~ Question ~~
Was the 2nd rider the track navigator :-/?
It's sports car racing and the rules say the cars must have...
... a second seat, spare tire, and "x" square feet of truck space. You'll note that the Ford GT40 cars (although not Can AM) actually have a metal box in the rear of the car to meet the trunk space requirement.
Excellent pics of a car/sport I know nothing about. lol But still cool.
Thank You
+1 ... I so Agree
I would recommend a movie you can view on you tube called "The Speed Odyssey" which covers the series with actual footage of races and is fantastic. Also one I think is Called "Thunder Alley" if memory serves. Be careful you may get hooked!
Thnks Josh ... I'll check out Youtube
