The answer to yesterdays "can you name it" is 1973 AMC Javelin AMX

The photo is a Javelin, not an AMX
The AMX had the AMX emblem in the middle of a blacked-out grille. Also had different stripes. Also notice that all the emblems on the photo say "Javelin". (AMC emblem in the grille) Also, the AMX had the chin spoiler. The both the Javelin and the AMX shared the same body, but had subtle differences and were separate models.

Yup, AMX had the mesh grill overlay.
