How would like to detail this M65 "Atomic Annie" that I found under the basement stairs where it lay forgotten for at least 30 years. It's over 40" long and it's just begging for your touch. LOL

...you mean, "done for now" with my Halftrack. 😏
Wow-wee! What the hell is that? I'm no toy collector but I'm shocked I've never seen this one before. It appears to be in remarkably good condition, thanks to those basement stairs, and it's VERY cool!
No way brother, I would NEVER touch that.... I assume there's some "value" there; some of those late 50's - 1960's "MARX-like" Army toys can fetch a pretty penny. I would've killed for this when I used to line up my troops, artillery & equipment!

.......First of all, congratulations on the discovery of a basement after all those years 😀 .........your pictures, as always, are state of the art
......I received a toy for Christmas, maybe around the age of 10 or 11 (1961,1962) that looked very much like this piece.....it fired projectiles, which my Mom did not find the least amusing....when a small,non-essential piece of some part of the toy functioned improperly, a reassembly team was formed on-the-spot and my wonderful toy was repackaged to better-than-new standards
......."Your father will take it back to Anderson`s and exchange it for a better one" claimed mom, who rested with good conscience that night, knowing that an imminent eye-putting-out catastrophe had been been quashed........I never heard another word of this marvelous toy

@chris It's by Ideal. It was still in its original box which, unfortunately had moldered away evidently from water damage at some time. It was placed there in the mid-'80s in my bachelor pad condo which I had abandoned 30 years ago with the second child's birth with wife #3 when more than 2 bedrooms were required.

@rich-sufficool Well, I've learned much, in a short time, about your 1958 Idea US Army toy.... MAN! What a 1/18 project that would be. I can see it now....... 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔
