Another vintage part of the ACD trio. Ertle Collectibles issued the Clark Gable Duesenberg in 1/18. It's a beauty. I posted this waaayy back. Ha. I also did up a mini poster for the Zone way back too. Hope you all enjoy. The model is posed in front of 16x20 photo enlargement of the University of Tampa along the river. Also used my cardboard simulating street. This is one model I still have in my collection.

Ertl did a fairly decent job on this .... I cannibalized a few for my 1/18 1932 Duesenberg project - that's still ongoing.  🙄 🙄 🙄

Nice pics Patty!   Gable loved to tinker with his cars, including the one you posted.

Terrific image, Patty ! That Duesenburg and the Ertl model of it look excellent. I understood that Clark's fellow actor friend Gary Cooper had a similar Duesenburg sports car.

Thank Patty. Great pictures of a rare 1/1 scale car.. The /1 scale car was rare because it was a Duesenberg with a shortened wheel base.
