And that would be the fabulous CMC Fiat Bartoletti transporters in Ferrari and Maserati liveries. Mint Models has 'em at around $1,300! Years ago, when the CMC Fiat Bartoletti models were first produced, I think they sold for approximately $700. After I acquired mine, and astounded by the enormous detail, I told myself CMC is selling them for too low a price! That they could easily ask and justify $1,500 for these magnificent pieces! Recent eBay aftermarket sales have commanded $2,500 for the Ferrari livery. Now that CMC has reintroduced the model, the notion of selling one of these beauties for that much is gone!
Hey, Chris! Do you remember when I was building my Gas Ronda Ford Transporter, and in my desperation for parts, I would buy a CMC Fiat Bartoletti and raid it for the pieces I wanted? In horror, you convinced me that idea was MADNESS, and if I did it, you were going to have me committed or at least arrested by the Diecast Police? Ha! That's a BIT of an exaggeration, but you were aghast that I would even consider such a reckless action! Fortunately, I listened to you and figured out much lower-cost alternatives. A couple of years later, after I acquired a previously owned model, I quickly realized just how good it was. Frankly, I was relieved that I didn't put THAT trigger! The model is too nice to tear apart!
I don't have the Maserati livery. However, I do have a Maserati Birdcage that I could display on the model as I've done with the Ferrari version. That would enable me to get closer to squeezing it into space I literally don't have.

"Remember?" I still wake up in a cold sweat every now & then because of your reckless disregard that almost succeeded. 😬 😬
The irony, of course, is that a few years later NOREV (I think ) released similar 1/18 sealed-diecast/resin European carriers with those very wheels. MSRP was c.$119
Can you imagine the depths of despair and utter overwhelming sadness that ultimately would've culminated in a cognitive breakdown had you chopped up that fabulous CMC only to discover that for pennies on the dollar, you could've achieved the same result?
I felt it my duty to intervene and, well, save your life! 😏 😏
Thanks for the heads up; I'm glad this MASTERPIECE is back! 😎 😀
What a wonderful model. It puts my 1/43 version to shame.

HA! It puts MOST models, on planet earth, to shame! 😏 😏 😏

It's a masterpiece. In my opinion, the Fiat Baroletti is the best work to ever come from CMC. I don't know of any other CMC model that comes close. I think it comes close to being compared to the extreme detail of Exoto ES Collection.
