I just got it! Good light was fading fast so I only have a couple of decent photos. The rest were pretty much a bust so I'll have to redo all of them. Perhaps tomorrow I'll have good light to take photos.
Use your macro lens, Marty. I assume the parts count is 1000+ on this monster. I'm intrigued by the scale of the build, although that era Mercedes doesn't do much for me. I suspect this is a real tour de force of model making, which, if I wasn't retired I'd probably still consider buying.
@bob-jackman - Space is definitely a problem. In fact, at this moment I absolutely have no idea. I'm doing some rearranging as we speak but it ain't lookin' too good. I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and move some of the earlier, lesser models out of my display cabinets.
I have two 1:8 scale Pocher models that eat up a lot of cubic display space. If I move those two models that would free up space for approximately fourteen 1:18 scale models.
Yep! I too have been "looking closely" at this one (I'm a sucker for convertibles). I like the standard 600 Pullman too. These are really nice models with all that CMC detail. Slide some of those gassers down Marty; you're gonna need the space!
@chris - I just moved two of my GIANT 1:8 scale Pochers to the garage. That freed up a ton of space on my bottom shelf!
Hey, look at that. It fits in nicely and looks great! I didn't realize just how many Ferraris you had. Funny, you don't look Italian (well, maybe a little.......lol) Auh, BTW: Better make a bit more room while you're at it. I believe those ACME Russ Davis 'Stangs are now available. Yours should be arriving soon.
