This cheap Yat Ming Mercury Turnpike Cruiser convertible has great bones but needed quite a bit of paint and foil on both the exterior and interior to be more accurate. The TPC was produced from 1957 to 1958 and in 1959, this most upscale of Mercurys was rebranded the Park Lane.
What a great looking Mercury Turnpike Cruiser ! I was delighted when Yat Ming released this terrific 1957 model. My additions consisted just to the black-wash of the grille.
@chrisYou seem to remember what pics I've posted previously. I don't anymore. As I go through the folders, I'm like "Did I... or didn't I ?". I wind up relying on the hope that if I had, no one remembers anyway. I just post pics regularly to keep at least some people engaged. There's nothing worse than logging in to hear crickets chirping.

Did I,or didn`t I?.....only the crickets know for sure (swell photos of the YM Cruiser 🤔 )
Rich, I do seem to have a good memory regarding prior posts. I try not to duplicate (although I have), but as you noted....ANYTHING is better than "crickets." 😏 😏 😏
