I'm already thinking about applying a "Foose-ian" paint job, slamming, and throwing on some larger wheels with low-profile tires.  Something like these...

@marlowe-or-marty Saw it at a show in Lancaster, MA in 2008! Pretty impressive car. 😮 I didn't realize it was a Foose car at the time.

@monteverde802 - Just in the interest of clarity, I'm not claiming it is a Foose custom.  I was just using it as a "Foose-ian" type design! LOL!

That's very interesting news ! It should undoubtedly be a terrific model from Acme and it's great subject matter. I am a bit surprised because some years back Maisto also did a really nice '55 Nomad and before that Yat Ming did a '57, so one might guess a 1956 Nomad might be a more sure winner in the Nomad trifecta. I have both the YM and the Maisto '55 and they are cool. But, perhaps for Acme, a '55 gives them a line on some "Foose-type" Nomads that they may have in mind further up the road.

Yes I was aware, as this was announced a while back. I thought, however, that this was promoted as a "static model" with no opening features. Looks LIKE IT WILL HAVE OPENING features! Awesome!  My Maisto '55 Nomad is OK but I'll upgrade for a "finger fun" ACME ALWAYS!   There's a 1956 Nomad also in the works.... I'LL TAKE THAT TOO!
