Exoto Alfetta 159 Problems
Hello.
I recently purchased a brand new 1/18 Exoto 159 Alfetta, having read rave reviews about it including on this website. Yes, the level of detail and accuracy is exquisite but, my particular model at least, has been let down by two major flaws. Firstly, one of the left knock-offs simply wouldn't tighten. Secondly, and perhaps most disappointingly, the supposedly magnetic under body panel simply will not stick. As soon as I turn the model the right side up the panel just falls off. As you can imagine this has all been very disappointing, especially given that this is supposed to be a high end model. Has anybody else had similar issues with with this particular model?

Thanks, that was a good suggestion but unfortunatley it's not to do with any protective film.
In another diecast forum I was given the impression that unfortunately this sort of problem is all too common with Exoto models.
