Here's two variants of the ubiquitous US Army Jeep: Aas armed radio command Jeep w/ .30 Cal. pylon mounted gun and DMs armed scout with pylon .50 cal w/ quick change barrel mounted machine gun. The AUTOart is presented almost factory fresh and the DM shows a bit of wear around the edges with the olive drab worn through and the finish showing oxidation and a bit of grime and dust. That 'used' look is just a combination of pastels and metallic powder rubbed in and brownish black matte enamel washes. While the Aa Jeep looks like a parade car fresh out of the motor pool, with only a light metallic rub to accentuate the gun and other area of very light wear. The DM looks like it's spent some time in the field. Which do you like best?

No way... it's like asking, "Do you prefer chocolate ice cream on the left side of your cake, or the right?"   My AA Jeep is one of my favorites!   I admire your trickery  Rich; it's very difficult to detect that one Jeep is 1/16 scale.  As always, even your lite-weathering  is convincing.  😎

"forced perspective"!

Ah yes, used most often by model RR guys.  😏

BTW: Seen at a recent model contest......  Can't get more "factory fresh"  than this!
