Well, if you like detail..........it's OK.
Obviously "another" rolling scaled down art piece. Can CMC make anything to the contrary? I think not.

That's always a problem with CMC models. They're really too good to cover up with body panels.
Ideally, you really need to have two. The bodied car and the rolling chassis.
I want one!

Eric, I believe this is a pre-production sample and
I'm sure that it will be up to a higher standard when it goes into production.

After looking at the rolling chassis images and what you get for $449, I have to ask myself if Minichamps closed resin cars with no engine or chassis details are worth $300.

I don't believe so. At least, they introduced this kind of production work in 2007 with the Maserati Birdcage.
The site you mentioned is about 1/43 and I believe they are not production models.

Richard it is your prerogative to believe as you wish but ......
scale and the fact that these LP Creations are specials made to order does not relate to the fact you have mentioned. What I am saying is that CMC are not the only ones reproducing models that show what is underneath the body panels and they were not the first by any means.

CMC models are an outstanding value for the money.....
I don't believe you will find this level of details in 1/43 even in custom made models.
