I say well done to Minichamps in providing these models and if anyone else makes the same ones then you have a choice.

Well, you are digging a bigger one for yourself........
because your comment is off track from the 1/18 scale perspective.
The pictures of this 1/43 model maker are for sure impressive but don't match the quality, details and parts count of the larger CMCs for a fraction of the price.

Richard, as ever, you've missed the point entirely, but never mind!!
I wrote a very full reply to you, but for the sake of propriety I have altered it.
Just to say the collecting of model cars is supposed to be fun and not belligerent confrontation. I have collected model cars all my life and very seriously for the last forty years, therefore I speak with some experience when I say try and enjoy yourself, gain knowledge from those who know more than you, of whom there are many and, for everybody's sake, relax!
