Truly sorry if my post regarding.....
the Minichamps '39 Delage offended or upset anyone, and that they felt the need to remove the post. It really was not my intention, just want to put my thoughts out there on this model.

I also was not offended. Does this mean we will not have the benefit of his insight.
Remember a true model maker is very saddened by what could have been and is not. As we all may be at times.
I always look forward to Marshal's postings.

I resurrected my account to inquire about this.
Although I didn't read the responses posted by Marshall and others, I think some further clarification might be in order. I consider Marshall's posts as being among the most salient on this message board and would be extremely saddened if he chose, or was encouraged, to no longer enlighten us with his experience and opinion.

Agree here Will - I have found Marshall’s comments to be ......
well founded and backed up with research not just repeating hearsay. Legacy Forums (Marshall posts on Forum 43 too) will be a different place if one cannot put an opinion across.

From what I read...............
He expressed an opinion about the cheap top on the Minichamps Delage 8-120 and said he would not buy one.
Where is the problem?
If he is in the business as a manufacturer from what I understand, It is not appropriate to badmouth competitors about their products on a public forum.
CMC, Exoto, Minichamps, Bauer and others don't do that here. Any reasons he should be privileged to do so? I don't think so.
Legacy is in the business to sell models and they don't need obstruction of opinions from competitive manufacturers on their sponsored website and when this happens from time to time, you have to take action.
This board has made the right decision to delete this post.
