@100ford2003 ...and that little peeshooter Chris posted is, in your opinion, a more stylish and iconic automobile?
(Gee, Chris, you've been here for 30 years now, how do you think M'sieur Kuvakas would handle this, if he wasn't unavailable?
Well, he might remind both parties that they are part of an august group of collectors and, as they have separate pairs of eyes, will see things differently and when expressing what they see may be unaware the recipient of their assessment is sensitive about the subject under discussion, though without any warning an unspoken sensitivity can hardly be avoided. Or, he might suggest both parties step back, take a deeeeeeeep breath to clear their heads, and have a cuppa and a cookie. Or, a single-malt, whichever will achieve the desired results.)
@gdh No, no.... I was just trying to be funny. 🙄 🙄
I thought it a bit amusing that you're now "arguing" with someone about style & taste. So...... why not re-post what you wrote me when I was "arguing" with someone about style & taste. 😀 😀
Just my mediocre attempt at jocularity. 😔 😔
@gdh ...you're not (or weren't ) arguing with Steve, that's why it's in quotes - more like a "clarification of an opinion." Again, just my attempt at humor, which obviously backfired. 🙄 😲 😯
@100ford2003 Steve as I was reading about this car, I was thinking about the 6.9 from decades ago. The 6.9 was definitely the Executive Hot Rod in it's day. Nice recall sir.
Both of those Caddy wagons, in my old eyes, are knock-outs!! So is the 450 Sedan that G posted before that. One that I always considered a modern day hot rod, and submit for consideration, was the Black Series SL.
@perrone1 That's why you're the "Benz-Guy". LOL You can dream, right? LOL
Ha! You bet. In my dreams I have it in this color:
And while we're dreamin' I'd add the SLR McLaren Roadster in Riding Hood Red:
Thank-you Bob. In ‘78-79 I started a mobile detail service and had a few high $ clients in and around Newport and Laguna Beach. At 25 yrs old I was impressed with what I washed & waxed 👍
-You know that after a few days of contemplating that Cadillac station wagon picture it’s not so bad as long as they would take that stupid fake wood stuff off the side.
