I have four cars coming that I plan on doing reviews on, I am going to do the reviews a little different, I am going to do a written review to try and point out details and features with photos and a video on the turntable.
Three of the cars are opening and one is a non opening resin model. This is the only resin non opening model I will have in my collection and it will be my last. I rather enjoy being able to look at the interior by opening doors and seeing in the trunk and under the hood.
Looking forward to your reviews.
I understand your feelings about resin models but don't see them as as much a problem in a number of cases as you do. For example, I have two Ferrari 250 SWB models from CMC. They are highly detailed models. I also have two of the Ferrari 250GT 'Drogo' models - they are sealed resin. When you consider that the only difference between the actual cars was the bodywork I don't consider the sealed models to really be a letdown. This is especially true because 99% of the time my models are sitting on shelves behind glass with all doors, hoods, trunks, etc closed.
For a race car collector like me where the choice is a sealed car or no car or a $200 car verses a $700 car - I'll take the sealed car and fill in the missing spot in my collection.
