@100ford2003 True.... when they left, they had several 1/18's on the drawing board slated for production including a 1949 Cadillac fastback, '58 Oldsmobile 2-dr hardtop, 1947 Cadillac ambulance & hearse, and rumored 1954 Mercury Sun Valley.    A few are promoted on this "proposal board"  seen at their last trade show exhibit.

Alos, here's a few pics of their prototype '56 Chrysler convertible.

Sad sometimes to think about what might have been. Those 1950's early 1960's cars had so much character and I still remember the thrill of knowing that every year the automakers would give us new styling - these days it is hard to tell one make from another and impossible most years telling one year from the next.

Sure was a lot easier in the 1950's - early 1980's.   

When one thinks that Chevrolet ALONE (when GM ruled the world ) literally changed body design language, hence mostly ALL-NEW tooling, every year from 1954 to '55 to '56 to '57 to '58 to '59 to '60 to '61 to '62 to '63 to '64 to '65 is mind boggling! 

Of course, that's something that would be impossible to achieve today as it would bankrupt GM.  😬 😬 😬

@franklemire Recently friends visited with their 22 year old daughter who just graduated from college. She asked if she could see my 1/1 scale cars and when I showed her the 63 Thunderbird Sports Roadster she got super excited. I asked if she would like a ride and she said yes...during the ride all she could talk about was how much character the car had as she studied each detail. It made me feel good to see a young person appreciate the things this old man sees in these old cars and gave me hope that a few young people like the older cars rather than just their phones.

@bob-jackman  Alas, I fear we have reached the age of mediocrity, in music, art, and definitely cars.  I sincerely hope this generation will continue to enjoy and protect the artistry that was created decades before they were conceived.  It would seem you have sparked the interest of one young lady and perhaps she will spread the word...

@gdh ...every now & then these kids  will surprise you.    They're not all over-weight, tattooed, lip-pierced, purple haired social media junkies' hell bent on posting other people's creations to express their own individuality.    🤨 🤨
