...and while we're at it, "Brougham" rhymes with "chrome," not "bro-ham." For decades, I've been correcting folks on this one. 🙄

Are those Sedan DeVilles gorgeous, or what? I must say, I am tempted!
The Brougham pronunciation eludes most of us. And I am afraid to say, you too, my friend. It's a two-syllable word.

....but yes, even on-line dictionary pronunciations/spellings show it as: brough-am

It seems both may be used: Oxford English Dictionary 1964. The reference to Lord Brougham (19 September 1778 – 7 May 1868) is interesting ....
