...well not really, this is about as far "from green"Β as one can get.Β π πΒ GMP's 1970 Plymouth GTX hardtop is, arguably, still the best 1/18 B-body 1968-1970 Mopar replicas produced. HW61s are VERY close but lack the "heft"Β and some unique features.
GMP's thoughtful execution includes everything found on the 1:1. Sure, a few parts are a bit crooked & some panel gaps are noticeable & it sits a bit high... but overall, it's still impressive. And those working scale window cranks are something I wish I could find on ALL models.
Very impressive model Chris. Working window cranks are a level above. I agree that the full sized version is about as far from the modern interpretation of βgreenβ, as you can get.
@david-green Truth be told, my brother-in-law owns this very car, in this color....except his is a Road Runner, 383.Β I can tell firsthand that you are soooooΒ right!Β LoL π Β The only thing "green"Β is the paint and the money it a takes to fill the tank. π π π
Spectacular car and pictures Chris. The only green I would worry about with is car is keeping the green paint clean.
What a great model and car from GMP and Plymouth ! There are so many exceptionally cool features and working details.
I've always wanted that exact model!Β I just love it!
@marty-johnson "Ladies and gentlemen.... Marlowe-altered-wheelbase-Johnson!Β Let's give 'em a big hand shall we!"Β Β
@gavin Yep!Β I love convertibles but the GMP hardtops looked better to me as well.
