The 1962-1963 Series 1 Ferrari GTO Berlinetta as designed by Bizzarrini and Scaglietti is one of the most desirable collector cars in the world. One of the 33 built sold for $70 Million. It qualified for the 1962 Sebring race only because it was lumped into the 250SWB for homologation certification. During their 3 year run, they won the FIA GT Manufacturers Championship each year.

Sorry for the hat -trick. Not sure what happened. I do have issues with this site and my phone.
The GTO is one model that I never was able to acquire at a decent price. Breaks my heart in a way. I suppose that after selling off my collection the GTO would have been a model I'd have saved.
@100ford2003 So many of these models you don't miss until they're gone and then suddenly you realize either how iconic they are or why you bought it in the first place.
So very, very true Rich.
I still have the Carlectables Tahoe Turquoise '66 Mustang, Hotwheels 288 GTO, AutoArt Corvette Pace Car, a few UT Porsches and a few Sunstar Platinums that I'm converting / customizing.
A great car and a killer replica of it. Nice !
