Help, I'm looking for a 1975 Chevy Grain Truck- Hwy 61

It's my Uncle's 80th birthday, and we've been asked to put something on our family table that reminds us of him. I remember driving this Chevy Grain Truck, and will never forget how it smelled like mice... It would look cool on the table, and I'm sure it would bring back memories for all of us. The cab was orange/red with a white box. I've seen some made by Highway 61, but can't find this one. Any suggestions or leads? photo no longer available

Relatively rare truck that occasionally shows up on eBay for $300 - $450. Keep watching there.

Thanks for the responses.

Could I turn a flatbed into a grain truck? I might be looking at getting one custom built, since I only have one month. Any recommendations on builders?

Rob, you can throw money at any situation; yes, you could have it done. What you would spend....

...however, would equal or be greater than the cost of buying one from eBay, a hobby shop, flea-market, etc....

My advice: Start looking "EVERYWHERE" now. Again, I wish you luck. If I had one, I'd sell it to you.

Custom made grain box

Christopher, thanks for the advice. I'm looking at converting a flatbed to a grain truck. You think a custom metal box could be built in 3 weeks? I've looked for a bead roller, which I think would be needed, but can't find a shop. I'd have to hire this out, if you have any suggestions.
