"Hot Wheels?"Β Β I'd love to see them do more American cars at this detail level, although this Ferrari is stunning. πΒ
@chrisΒ When Mattel bought the 1/18 Ferrari license for a limited time, they went crazy putting out Ferrari models in various levels of detail to sell to the big box impulse buyer to levels for more serious collectors. They subbed out some of their best models to Kyosho. As to American cars, the only on I can think of is the Barris Batmobile. They paid through the nose for the multiple licenses from Barris, Warner Brothers, DC Comics and Greenway Production and then offered the model at 3 different levels to amortize the huge investment and I assume, make a good profit.
HW also did the C6 Corvette, in both regular Coupe & Z06 forms, a 69/70 (can't remember which) Charger, but neither were done to Elite levels like these Ferraris.

I'm aware of only three Hot Wheels "Elite-type"Β American cars: The Batmobile, Knight Rider and Ghostbuster's 1959 Cadillac....which I do have because it's so well done. One day, I'll remove all that GB's crapΒ and make fully-openingΒ ambulance.Β
I find this. Very attractive model. Love the full sized Ferrari 410 SuperAmerica, especially in black.
A great looking HWE Ferrari and especially so in this excellent color scheme.
Thanks guys!Β Glad you liked it!
