Here is an Ertl 1/18 diecast of the beautiful 1960 Ford Starliner. I believe this was in the "American Graffti" series. Some of these diecasts suffered from diecast corrosion, but mine so far seems to have held up ok and I hope that lasts. It is a beautiful car and model.

I'd say other than possible peeling roof paint, you're probably going to be OK.  It seems mostly green painted Starliners were affected. Ertl nicely captured this car's wonderful look!

Designers really pushed for round taillights (continuing 1959's styling theme ) but lost out, only to win back their preference in 1961. But it's interesting to see how they "tried"  to, somewhat successfully, indicate the look of round taillights by incorporating two half-circles (lens & bumper ) into the rear styling.

I just loved the roof line on the '60 and '61 Starliners. I had a '61 tudor poster and would have killed to be able to upgrade.

@rich-sufficool Years ago, I passed on a '60 Starliner in original minty-green.  I'm still mad about it! 😫 🤨

While stationed in the Navy, a friend had a black Starliner with a red/white interior. I thought that was one of the coolest cars I had ever seen.
