How about an old school funny car?

Looks good to me.
Never seen a Shelby Daytona coupe as a funny-car. That's wild. There was...
... a Shelby-sponsored Cobra roadster called the Dragin' Snake - or something like 'that'. But, as I recall it was not a funny-car. In fact, the last one I saw was on the Mecum auction.
This was one I made myself..............
out of a bunch of spare parts and after market pieces.
I made this by taking a Shelby Collectibles Daytona Coupe apart, bonding the body pieces together, grinding down and or filling in any vents and scoops, filling in the body seams and then placing it on a hand fabricated chassis with suspension parts from my parts bin.

Not particularly high in detail but a lot of fun to make - doing this reminded me of when I was a kid 'kit bashing' 1:25 scale plastic models
Well done. A classic - 'What if...'. Although we know a REAL Daytona Coupe would...
... have NEVER been converted this way.
They are much too rare.

Funny ...... and fast !
That's why I made a Funny Car...........
It is not supposed to be a real car body but rather a fiberglass or plastic composite shell that mimics the shape of a real car. That is why I filled all of the seams to make a single body piece. That is also why I cut out the firewall, door hinges and anything else I could to make it just a shell
I like that FLM RACING windshield banner !!
Love it Frank!
You did a fine job Frank; it's looks pretty cool!
I like that entire car ... VERY NICE INDEED
Way cool! I've always loved this one!
