The 1991 Mazda 787B had three major firsts and one end of life, 1. 1991 Mazda 787B was the first carbon fiber tub chassis for Mazda 2. The rotary engine is the only non piston engine to ever win Le Mans 3. Mazda was the first Japanese manufacture to win the overall 24 hours of Le Mans race 4. The rotary engine was banned due to new rules after the 1991 Le Mans race.

The AA 787 is an amazing model...my first AA Signature level model.  Pretty impressive about all those accolades.

@chris - That's the cool thing about racecars.  They're always more than an air cleaner, valve covers, and a radiator.  Racecars always push the engineering envelope.  It provides uniquely different eye candy to take in and enjoy.
