I don't collect pre-1960 models well there are a few exceptions - five to be exact - out of my 270 models. These three though are worth breaking the rule

Yes there was..............

but I really didn't get interested in cars until 1960 so that seemed like a good point to start my collection at.

By the way, the prime reason for having the Ferrari 250 TR and the D Jag is because they were the two cars that came with the first slot car racing track I got in 1962

Frank, what about a 300SLR to make a trio into a quartet?

Also, a good link to the D Type.

Which slot car company made a pontoon fendered TR?

My AUTOart D Type arrived today (Europe has been slow getting them) I agree with everything you previously wrote - it's a genuine tour de force of model making. I would think that quality verses price is just about unbeatable.

That would make a nice 4th for the group.........

but I don't own one.

But indeed i should have added my DBR-1 to the lineup to round things out.

Yes, indeed - one of the best pieces of modification ever shown on this Forum.

Thanks for that...............

The Aston was one of my better efforts - one case where a lot of work paid off
