I just uncovered some new an interesting news I'm very happy about, and you Mopar racing guys will be into this too. It appears that ACME, those southern Ladies and Gentlemen are going to make a model of two, no THREE of my most desired and wanted Mopars ever! scheduled for release at end of 2015, they will be making 1:18th examples of the Sam Posey Autodynamics 1970 Trans Am Dodge Challenger #77, AND The 1970 Dan Gurney AAR #48 Plymouth cuda!!!!!!!!!! These will be the Trans Am racing versions of each car!!! I've wanted one of each since I was 15. (and I'm MUCH older than that now!!!). Not only that, but they will be making examples of the Chrysler France racing Hemi cuda's!! These are relatively unknown in the US, but back in 1970 the head of Chrysler France ordered four '70 hemi cudas built for road racing to race in Europe. The head of the Chrysler group in France, Henri Chemin, not only ran the group, he drove the cars in the races. Amassing 63 wins from 1970 to '74, when the cars were retired. ACME will model a red and blue version of these cars as well!!! the history, the looks, I HOPE THEY GET IT ALL CORRECT.!!Christmas for me will be the best ever this year!!!!
I agree Chris, this sounds very positive and exciting news - thank you for sharing.
