I've been on a quest to dust and clean the shelves in my cabinets. Dust still collects even though they're always enclosed in cabinets. However, the models require cleaning too. As I was cleaning a '67 Pontiac GTO and a '67 Dodge Charger, I realized they seemed to be almost the same length. Actually, the mid-sized GTO seemed to be a bit longer than the full-size Charger. My first impression was the scaling was off. So, to confirm, I Googled the length of both cars. Much to my surprise, the midsize '67 GTO is 206" in length, and the full-size '67 Charger is 203". Wow! I didn't know. This is another example of my model cars teaching me something I didn't know about the 1:1 cars!
Have your model cars taught you something about the 1:1 cars that you didn't know?
Interesting Marty. So many times you can't trust the models as some are made to fit a box.

Yes, that is true. And my first impression was that at least one of the models was out of scale. After I did my Google search on the 1:1 lengths, I was surprised to see that the Pontiac GTO is actually longer than a Dodge Charger. I would have bet money that the Charger was longer.
