... the Minichamps 1:6 scale, Honda CB750. This is one of the most accurately detailed models I have in my collection. I might be compelled to say it rivals my most detailed Exotos, albeit, those are 1:18 scale. The chain is comprised of individual pieces. I regret not picking up the Kawasaki Z1 900. Now, the price of them on the secondary market is stratospheric!
Man, that thing is BEAUTIFUL! Love the chrome, love the color, love the authentic detail to everything!!
As I noted, many folks would be fooled - they'd have no idea this is a scale model. The only tip off might be the "clean" tire tread, otherwise... NO WAY! There's a TON of detail work & trim that impress me but NOTHING more than that chain!
I have about a half-dozen 1/6 models, most with chains - including Franklin Mint's "museum quality" 1896 Henry Ford Quadracycle. That 1/6 chain is total garbage when compared to your Minichamps!
Once again, congratulations Marty!
@chris - I've had this model for many years. Yes, the chain is too good! If I were to register an issue, the front disc brake rotor needs to be scored to give a more realistic look.
