Is it MotorMax ? I've never seen one unmarked in silver. How bout making a few changes so you'd have a Marauder ?
@100ford2003 Yes, it's a Motormax which is OK, but.... Autoart produced an unmarked all white Crown Vic but it's very rare. I wouldn't bother with a Mercury conversion because the differences are negligible.
Oh there's nothing wrong with a MotorMax. I've had a few of them and was quite impressed. That explains why I've never seen the white CV. I am pretty surprised though that it has full wheel covers like the AutoArt does. I wish I hadn't sold the LAPD car. We were having a garage sale and I got talked into selling it real cheap because the man and his wife told me that their daughter was an LAPD officer and she would absolutely love having that model.
@rich-sufficool - It's a model of the SpaceX star ship. Chris is correct that it has a butane torch that look like a rocket engine.

Yes, there are few 1/18 Motomax that, for the price, are outstanding; many, however, are not. My MM Crown Vic is good (considering I paid only $5, it's great! ) but I'm spoiled by Autoart's Crown Vic. The "plan" was to one day upgrade that MM to rival AA's detail.
But of course, ALL that will go out the window should I ever SCORE that unmarked white AA Crown Vic. 😏 😏 😏
PS
Yes, I agree.... you should've NEVER sold your LAPD car! 😫 😫 😫
@chris I'll say one thing Chris, your collection is far more diverse than mine. Amazing.
"I'll say one thing Chris, your collection is far more diverse than mine."
You mean to say that in over 6,000 pieces, you don't have: A micro size 1955 Toyota, N-scale vehicles, or a 1/64 Cadillac "Beast," a 1/43 1769 Cugnot, or a 1/32 '53 Nash, or 1/24 Tucker with blackwalls, or any 1/18 WW II "stuff" - including 3-D printed replicas of "Fat Man & Little Boy," or a 1/16 Paddy Wagon, or a 1/12 working TV, or any historic 1/8 vehicles, or not even a 1/6 Ford flathead, or a walking & talking Robbie the Robot?
Well gee whiz Bob, you're telling me that all you collect are stupid cars? 😀 😆 😀 😆
PS Bob,
- YOU think this is eclectic? HA! Rich Sufficool wins that prize - HANDS DOWN! 😏 😏 😏
Chris, you've made me realize what an empty existence I've led by only collecting "stupid" cars. I guess I'm going to have to start over.
"...you've made me realize what an empty existence I've led by only collecting stupid cars."
LoL, your comment made me laugh Bob.. I stopped what I was doing to post this response.
My Mom used to say that the first picture I ever drew was of a car, from that time on, I've thought of cars every single day of my life, period. Next subject. If YOUR life is an "empty existence," then MY LIFE is completely irrelevant! 😉
@100ford2003 That Futurliner restoration was incredible. I wonder what the price tag was on that build.
"I saw that Nash at a TRU."
Really? I didn't think TRU sold that.... but yeah, you goofed - but of course, who knew?
I goofed too. LSS: I have much more 1/18 WW II "stuff" than I posted above (as you probably recall ) HOWEVER - I dismissed ALL of it as I walked past it for years at TRU. I thought, "Who's going to pay $11.99 -$24.99 for plastic half-tracks, jeeps, guns & tanks? Who even buys that crap?"
- Of course, decades later, I had to have ALL of it! ....and paid a lot more than $11.99 - $24.99!
I goofed! 😫 😫 😫 😫 😫
Kay-Bee perhaps ? I love the way it looked but I just figured it doesn't fit into any scale that I have. I guess sometimes you just shouldn't rationalize anything. You see it, you love it, you get it. You can always trade it or sell it later !
