This 2005 Ferrari 575 Superamerica is the 3rd of 4 Superamerica Ferraris that began in 1956 and offers the performance of a Berlinetta with the option of rotating the hard top into the trunk with a flip of a switch. This front engine design by Pinin Farina incorporates design cues from the previous generations including a stylized egg crate grill from the mid-fifties. The interior is filled with luxurious amenities that includes extra storage compartments and a closed cabinet behind the seats making it a true grand touring car. The engine is a 397 HP 5.7 liter DOHC V12 linked to a 6 speed manual/automatic transmission. 559 models were built. Model by Hot Wheels.
Ferrari had some strange roof systems on some of their spyders.
Nice pics & model, but IMO, not a high point for Ferrari style - this looks a bit chunky. I agree with Tony about some of their roof systems. 🙄 🙄 🙄 That's a very compact V-12. 🤔 🤨
