Jaguar D types , short and long nose
This photo shoot may cause a certain diecast manufacturer to have a coronary, but here goes; There is no question which manufacturer has the most detail;is the price of acquisition worth it? The exposed version hits all of my desires in a diecast replica;photetched and machined parts, high quality precision assembly,perfect paint quality,the same experience as if examining a fine Rolex or Breitling watch with the case opened. On the other hand the long nose model looks quite satisfying 'buttoned up' to enjoy the overall shape:

What a superb solution! The Exoto needs to be displayed exposed. The details are too fantastic...
... to hide behind bodywork. On the other hand, the body is too pretty to not display in its fully glory. A perfect display idea!
