Just received the new Acme 1964 Buick Riviera!

And I like it. This is the first time I have ever pre-ordered a model. I was beginning to wonder if I had been taken for a ride but it did finally arrive. I could wish that the passenger door closed/fit better, but otherwise it does a good job of reminding me just how beautiful the original 1:1s really were!

Duncan, how are the gaps betwwen the fenders and hood? The original HW61 releases suffered from....

...excessive gaps. My best example (the most narrow gaps I could find) is still pretty "gappy."

I am no expert, but the overall fit seems pretty good. The worst gap/fit is the one I referred to in my original post concerning the passenger door. And even then, it's not the gap that is the problem. It is tight enough, but the door won't shut completely tight against the body, making it look like there is a gap when I took the picture.

Thanks duncan; glad to hear ACME "tightened-up" the assembly process.
