The 288 GTO is one of my favorite Ferraris. Takes the beautiful & iconic 308 styling & turns up the aggression, power & performance. This is my 3rd 288 GTO in my collection, an old horrible Polistil in black (and actually 1:16), HW's non Elite & now this KK. The HW was nice for the time & a nice upgrade over the Bburago on which it was based, but the KK looks much better to me...though still not quite perfect. The wheels, while much more accurate than the HW, seem to be too large & the tires are too skinny, an of course, the biggest negative is it is a sealed model. KK did a 2nd release that has red inserts on the seats, wish I'd waited for that one.

Looks like KK Scale did a good job on these but you know the larger rear wheels on the Hot Wheels version look better and it's not hard to critique this thirty some year old model...
