Lamborghini Reventon
Just wondering what you think about the Auto Art 1:18 Lamborghini Reventon, I was thinking of purchasing this car.
The Reventon
Howard, The Reventon (Spanish pronunciation: Reben ton) features an all-new carbon fiber exterior. All Reventons have the same exterior color, described as "mid opaque grey without the usual shine."
Therefore it is very important to buy the original image of the car - Ref number 74591- that is the correct finish and colour, not the subsequent car that is painted black.
As it is an AUTOart model, it is superb and well worth purchasing.
I never thought much of the car as it appeared too cartoonish; at least until...
... I saw a 1:1 at night in Beverly Hills! It was astoundingly impressive!
Now I want a model of one!
Marlowe, Lamborghini only made 20 for sale, plus one more for its museum.
You have seen a very rare car and I'm envious!
One of the more impressive models of the year (pics)
Shortcuts on things like the windsheild wipers....but who cares - looks astounding!
Nice pictures.
Yeah, one of the advantages of living in So Cal. At one point, I'll be able to see...
... ALL of the great cars! However, visual sightings of two of my very favorite cars have eluded me. Those being a McLaren F1 and the Bugatti Veyron.
When I saw the Reventon, it was dark and I was stopped at the light on Rodeo Dr. Coming out of the darkness to my left on Wilshire Blvd I could see the headlights of a low slung car coming my direction. Since I was in Beverly Hills, where exotics are as common as Chevrolets, I figured it too be a Ferrari or Lambo. As it passed, I quickly realized it was a Reventon and I exclaimed to my wife, "that's a Lamborghini Reventon!" Not being a car person, I didn't get much reaction from her but I knew I'd seen something very rare and exclusive in the automotive world. Frankly, it seemed so surreal with the black apparition emerging out of the darkness! It really appeared to be the quintessential Batman car. It was as though I actually saw the Batmobile! Ever since then, I've had a whole new appreciation for the Reventon.
Looks awesome... mine is still in the box but will do some photoshoots in a few weeks. Really love this " stealth " car :))
Cool photos :))
cool gots to get it
