Howdy. First time posting. I have stumbled upon my father's collection of Bdurago, Mira and Maisto die cast 1:18 scale collection.

They have been wrapped in newspaper and kept in dry conditions for 13 years.

None are boxed, although they are almost mint condition. Here's a list of the collection below:

Hi Andy; welcome to the Diecast Zone. Check out the way to use Buy, Sell & Trade by clicking here: https://diecast.org/community/sell/how-to-use-the-buy-sell-trade-forum/

You'll better sell the collection by listing a sales price for each, condition of each and shipping cost. Also your seller information as spelled out in the FAQ's. Best of luck to you!

"I wanted to get your alls opinion before I sell!"

Hi Andy and WELCOME to our Forum(s ), we're glad to have you!

Since you're soliciting opinions, in effect, asking for an "appraisal"  please allow me to give you one.

I could lie or be brutally frank & honest; I suspect you'd appreciate the latter.

Truth is, there is no model on that list that would garner more than, say, $10 in an eBay  auction.   Maybe one or two might fetch $15, but.....

Collectively, I'd value that collection of 18 models at $70- $85.     Any Estate Sale liquidation outfit, or retailer (who purchases collections for resale ) would more than likely offer you $40 - $45 for the lot.

- Now you must decide what's the best course.  Is any effort worth it?   Should you donate them?   List each one and hope for the best?   Keep them?

I sincerely hope my "2 cents"  helps to guide your decision - one YOU can live with.  If you have ANY further questions about ANYTHING, please feel free to ask. WE WILL HELP YOU!   Best of luck as I extend my condolences to you and your family.

- Chris

Number 6 on your list listed as an Eagles Race/Exoto brand is from universal hobbies and new in box only brings at most $32 dollars on eBay. Also when I do a search it also comes back as a 1994, not a 1964 Mustang. Not sure why your description also includes Exoto in the make as Exoto did not release this diecast.

Does the side of the car have 30th anniversary on it? If so that is the 1994 Eagles Race put out by universal hobbies. I can't find it in a cream color only a single red one shows up.

Yes, good catch.

I assumed Andy was referring to a Mira 1964.5 Mustang white/red convertible - worth virtually nothing.  But as you noted, if it's an Eagle's Race, "30th Anniversary"  - white logo on the door - 1994 Mustang, then THAT might fetch more than $10

I've only seen a few '94's in white - perhaps that might bring even more?     Andy, if you can, please post some pics.

For John
