Smokey Yunick broke a bunch of land speed records with a Camaro using both a small block and a big block for different classes. While on the way to the salt flats Smokey Stopped off at Riverside Raceway and blew away the Trans Am cars that were practicing. The track personnel quickly told Smokey to load up the Camaro and leave the track.
