Maisto Chrysler 300 Nascar
Has anyone the background on this image, who made it, etc??photo no longer available

I would guess that terrific model used the
Maisto 1956 Chrysler 300 tooling. I don't know if that was done with aftermarket decals by someone, but I don't think Maisto themselves released a version like this.
The original diecast model came on the market 15 years ago. I have one in white and one in maroon.

Charlie, it's a home project using Maisto's (underscaled) 1956 Chrysler, HW61 wheels & "eBay" decals

The roll cage must have required taking the car apart.

...oh yeah, without a doubt. That model can be disassembled in 3 minutes.
